there are many fans of DXO program

i won't worry that they will go out of business

Fans and revenue are two different things.

by fans i mean paying customers

they are very popular worldwide

i guess they may be second in popularity behind lightroom worldwide

no chance of going under

There was a chance, thanks to the loss-making DxO ONE camera. But fortunately DxO Labs finally saw sense and dumped it, along with its costs. DxO spent far too much effort promoting that slow-selling piece of hardware, at the expense of its core software business.

but they really need to work on color, my A6500 default color in DXO is nothing like in camera jpeg and is ugly

So why not choose the colour rendering from a different camera? I use Leica M9 colour rendering for my a6500 and other Sony, Canon and Panasonic cameras.
