Using a film lens for photography?

I have found the film version of a walimex 14mm 2.8 for a very nice price (similar to this one with gear rings for focus/aperture https://www.amazon.com/Rokinon-CV14M-C-Clicked-Compatibility-Wide-Angle/dp/B0094AYSSW).

But are there any serious drawbacks of using a lens designed for film to take photos? Specifically architectural/landscape photography.
