Re: "Frames remaining" wrong on BOTH X-H-1 and X-T2...Huh?

You nailed it.

Definitely weird coincidence that it happened on both bodies at the same time. And they were both hovering at the 120+/- frames remaining mark. Statistically I guess that's about a 1 (or so) in 10,000 chance. Better than winning the lottery, but still a statistical long shot.

Anyhow, after reformatting all four cards several times in my PC, I dug deeper and tried something else. Previously when I'd burst shot through to the end of the "frames remaining" count, I just deleted the shots on the disk by in-camera format. Apparently that kept resetting the count.

So I burst shot both cameras through to the point where it said "card full," pulled both cards out, reformatted on the PC, reset the "data set up" to renew and all seemed okay.  Per your advice I have now reset to continuous.

Both cameras are now showing 950 left when IQ is set to Raw+F.

What really threw me for a loop, though, was it happening on two bodies at the same time at around the same frames remaining.

FWIW, I did look in the manual but did not find the answer. Of course, if you don't understand the problem, you likely aren't using the same language as the manual, so seeking answers there can come up empty.

Thanks all.
