Hey everyone,

So let's not turn this thread into another long debate about how much Fujifilm is a reliable camera instead just vote.

We all know most cameras probably won't face this lock up issue but in the last few days I randomly watched many video reviews and read many other reviews of X-T3 and there were couple of videos where people complained about it (for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5wuVDI9v6Y) and couple more but I won't post them here. Even after the firmware update where Fuji stated it will be fixed, the lock up issue was there again.

So let's see actually what is the ratio between good and faulty Fuji cameras (not only X-T3).

First, please take the time to READ the release notes for the first firmware update and quote the bit where it says it fixes lockups. It's not there, because they didn't say anything about that.

Second, yes, I've had three lockups on my two X-T3s. So far I'd say it is a firmware bug somehow connected to the battery grip as in all three cases the only way to clear the lockup was to unscrew the grip enough that the pins cleared the connectors.

I had lockups on my X-T2s at first too, then they went away never to return ever, and I used those cameras several times a week, extensively. So I trust that Fuji will fix it in firmware updates.
