Ok after using this lens since Christmas 2016 I can say:

+It's super sharp between f5.6 to f9

+It's more a 21.5mm compared to your 18-55

+It has a good sharpness at f2 as long as you are at a minimal distance of your subject of 50cm, good for night shots in streets without tripod

+It has a good level of bokeh

+It's small and light, perfect combination with the X-T20

+ AF is the fastest and super silent

+ Lens hood is small and circular

- it tends to blow some highlights between f2 and f4

-It has a loss of sharpness between f2 and f2.8 if under 50cm

-Bokeh balls have significant onion rings and strange shapes in the borders

The f1.4 version:

+ Better bokeh and DOF

+Way better bokeh balls

+Sharp at f1.4 and sharper at f2 specially for close-ups

- heavier

- Sloooow AF and noisy

Voila!

The perfect lens doesn't exist, either f1.4 and f2 are good choices for family,street,landscape...but each one has an advantage over the other, the f1.4 is sharp from 1.4 while the f2 has a faster and silent AF (good for movies too)
