A99 (Portraits In Bright Sun, When Is Post Processing Too Much)
4

Sunday I shot a couple teenagers with my A99 w/flash fill. Some of the shots were in direct / harsh sun. I positions the subjects with their back to the sun and used flash fill (still left harsh results). I used PS CC ACR to post process and then worked in PS to remove facial blemishes (one of my concerns was a china doll look). Less PP showed facial blemishes.

So how much PP is too much.

Sure best not to shoot in bright sun but the kids wanted the scene with Detroit and Canada in the background.

PS, in order to get the last three shots I was perched on a rock at the rivers edge and ready to fall in if not careful (too old for this fun stuff).

Appreciate comments and suggestions, Thanks:
