Tamron 15-30 vs Sigma 14 f/1.8

Hi all,
I do a lot of nightscapes (starry skies in the mountains) and I’m quite happy with the Tamron 15-30 with a Nikon D850.

I was wondering if the Sigma Art 14mm f/1.8 would bring the quality to the next level.
At f/1.8 vs f/2.8, the Sigma would allow to lower the ISO from 2500 to 1250 given the same shutter speed (no more than 20 seconds to avoid star trails).
Alternative strategy would be stopping down the Sigma to f/2.8, that should improve the lens performance even further.

In the real world, would the Sigma lead to significantly better results than the Tamron in your opinion?

Thanks for your feedback.
