Lens alignment repair?
My 16-35 f/4 and 100-400 ii have both been performing subpar based on my expectations. I ended up purchasing Rekian FoCal to try and microadjust them for better performance. Upon completing the calibration FoCal reported that the performance of the wide end of both lenses is well below average and the software recommended getting them repaired.
I've never sent a lens for repair before. Does this go straight through canon? What is the cost of repairing a lens? They've never been dropped or damaged but are both older than a year.
