Better Photo Viewer?

I've noticed that the built in Windows10 "Photo Viewer" app tends to introduce blurriness when viewing files that are a high resolution than your screen. If I look at the pictures in Irfanview, they are clear whether they are downrezzed or native camera rez.

For example, here is a crop from my computer viewing a 2000x2192 JPEG on my 3440x1440 screen.  Look at the Japanese characters.

A crop from the same source saved out as a 2847x3120 JPEG.  Notice how the detail in the characters and the lines on the bottom of the roof are blurred?

I'm saving out my JPEGs at 100% quality and 400px/in

Is there a better program to view JPEG photos on my computer?  I just need to be able to arrow through them to show friends and family, or maybe trigger a slideshow.  I do all my editing in COP.
