LX100 Mk II Clarification on file sizes using different aspect rations
1

OK - so I'm confused (OK - timed so you can chime in with your one liners)....

We know that the LX100 uses a 20 MP sensor, but only 17 MP's are available.  But are these 17 MP's firm regardless of what aspect ratio you're shooting in?

For example, is the MP count the same when shooting in 16 x 9 as it is shooting in Four Thirds?  In other words, regardless of what aspect ratio you shoot in - do you wind up with a 17 MP image?  Or does it vary - i.e. 17 MP at 16 x 9 while shooting at 3:2 or Four Thirds gives you more MP's?

Thanks for clearing this up in my little brain...
