Canon 35mm 1.4 L (original) vs. 35mm 2.0 IS

I am trying to decide between these two lenses for boudoir photography.  My primary concern is that I want accurate and consistent focusing.  I just did a test shoot with a cheapo Yongnuo 35mm lens which proved to be neither accurate nor sharp across the frame.

Which lens is more accurate and consistent for focusing?

I would buy the 1.4 L II if price were no object, but it is!  Looks like I can get a used 1.4 L for about $1100, or a new 2.0 IS for $700.

I think an aperture of f2 is good for the majority of my shots for boudoir, but f1.4 would be nice sometimes for shallow depth of field.  I assume both lenses have decent bokeh.
