It does not look like the electronic shutter. The electronic shutter on the A7Riii takes 1/15 sec to scan the image. There is about 100 bands recorded in this image. This means that the light had to be flickering 1500 times per second. Theoretically possible, but each line of pixels was exposed for 1/60 sec. Even if the light was flickering every 1/1500 sec, it would not have produced any banding over this exposure time.

Also notice that the banding only occurs in well light areas but completely absent at the bottom of the image. It looks more like a reflection of the sensor in the rear element.

To the OP. Is this a straight out of camera JPEG or was the image processed in any way, in particular cropped or straightened?
