No.... I simply noted that Nikon AND CANON provide pass-thru adapter support for far more lenses -- 90 for Nikon, hundreds for Canon. Only 11 unique ff lenses for Sony (and only 26 total).

Couldn't part of this be attributed to the fact that Canon and Nikon have more lenses in their DSLR systems?

Only partially. The A-mount catalog has 136 lenses between Sony and Minolta. So there are plenty of lenses. But only 20% get LAEA3 AF. Only 11 unique FF lenses.

Actually: 17 unique full-frame lenses with motors in that work on the La-EA3 and give AF... there are another 9 APS-C

11 unique. You seem to be counting G1 and G2 as two unique lenses. They aren't unique -- would you own both the 24-70 G1 and 24-70G2? (and they stopped selling the G1, except for remaining inventory).

If we are talking current lenses only, a search on the Dyxum lens database gives 12 hits for current, full-frame A-mount lenses with in-lens motors.

It's 11.... Dyxum is listed the 300mm G as current but it was replaced by the 300 G2.

I stand corrected...
