A smallish "leave in the glove box all the time" camera?

I generally take my OMD EM1 Mark ii with me wherever I go, but I've always thought it would be nice to have the peace of mind knowing that there's a camera permanently in my car (glove box, under the seat, what have you) on those occasions where I decided to leave my main shooter home.  What gives me pause is summer heat, and to a lessere degree winter freezing temps - I'm in Northern Virginia and it rarely dips into the teens around here.

Question - would an OMD EM10 ii (the model I'm thinking of buying) be plenty "tough" enough to handle the extremes of a car's interior temperatures.  I live in a townhouse and have street parking, so no garage.  Anyone with experience in this regard?

Thanks!

Brian
