LX100 Mark I still better than this Mark II !?

Hi all,

After reading Richard Butler's Intitial impressions (""Panasonic DC-LX100 II First Impressions Review") Review I personally came to an assessment that -in my use case- the 4 year old Panasonic Mark I (my D-Lux typ 109) is still preferable to the "new" Mark II.

FWIW ...

The LX100 Mark I / D-Lux typ 109 is now(adays) ...

- real cheap (420 USD/EURO) vs 999 USD

- has a Leica version

- to me of the utmost importance : far better 'crop' for VIDEO : makes for a 27 mm WA lens vs 33 mm ... a BIG deal for sure !

- smaller files (could also court as a 'negative' of course)

Few other, so called other merits, like a touch screen are not really important (to me) but the higher-res 1.24 mp EVF is great though. The Firmware improvements would be wellcome too.

Of course, YMMV ... I was so anticipating a true 'LX200' ... like we all were I guess ???!!!

Kind regards,

Stefaan
