I used to be able to find thin deerskin curling gloves that worked well under mitts for cold days, but I haven't seen them for quite a while. I remember shooting fireworks off the roof of a high rise building (well, high for Saskatchewan) and with the cold temperatures and wind, the aluminum really bit the fingers. As I recall, I was shooting a medium format Mamiya with film.
