I have been a Canon user since the start of DLSR's. First bought a KISS DSLR, followed by the 30D and other xxD's, and my last DSLR was the 5D2. My first MILC was the M3, and I now use the M6 as my main camera.

When I migrated to MILC's, I did not even consider other brands, because of the following:

1. My camera bodies and lenses (from Canon) have been reliable, and not one has given me any problem.

2. I am satisfied with the files from my Canon equipment. I don't need the latest or highest specced equipment. I am an amateur and my needs are simple

3. I am already familiar with the Canon menu system and the ease of use.

4. As long as I am satisfied with the Canon camera system, I do not see the need to change brands. I am an engineer by profession, and reliability is more important than features.

At the moment, the M6 is enough for my needs, although the RF system is quite attractive, especially the 28-70mm f2, and the 50mm f1.2 lenses.
