Mooncakes in Singapore (16/1.4, 24/1.8 and 30/1.4)

For those unaware, in Singapore this time of year in the run up to mid-autumn festival it's mooncakes time! Big department stores dedicate whole floors to showing off their mooncake wares, and crowds come to taste samples and buy boxes of mooncakes to enjoy with their family. They are also given as gift to clients etc.

Crowds at Takashimaya

Yep, those are ALL mooncakes stalls

Home's favourite brand is our favourite too... love the packaging

Each box contains four frozen mooncakes - these are the 'snow skin' ones.

Just love the presentation!

Here's one cut into 8 pieces

The filling of these beauties is premium Mao Shan Wang (lit: cat mountain king) durian.

So refreshing on a hot day in Singapore
