[Tamron] 70-300 f5/5.6 VC vs 70-210 f4 VC

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a light/long zoom lens to bring on holidays, hikes etc.. my Sigma 135/1.8 is awesome but a little heavy to bring it on long walks.

I heard very good reviews about the Tamron 70-300 f4/5.6 VC USD and the price is very attractive. Image quality is apparently very good in the 70-200 range, falling from 200 to 300mm.

However Tamron released their new 70-210 f4 VC USD. I don't seem to find much good reviews online though, and it is also more expensive and heavier than the 70-300.

I am interested to see how they compare from an image quality point of view, and if the price difference is justified or not at all.

Anyone?

Thanks

Matt
