I am looking for Christmas gifts for my children and a used M50 or M100 discarded by a someone who left for SONY would be a welcome buy. Because these cameras are so bad, I expect to pay $20 for the M100 and $10 for the M50... LOL (with the poor lenses that came with them. of course).

Those interested to sell can reach me on my Zenfolio site.

While you are joking, I'm actually applying this anti-cyclic buying pattern. I initially bought into Canon FF (5DII back then) right after the announcement of the D800, and people where "panicking" about having to sell their stuff and move over to Nikon. I bought my 70-200 L IS 2.8 from such a guy far below market price as well. Just this week I got a brand new X-E3 right after the announcement of the X-T3 for 500€. People where so much focused on the new holy grail, that on eBay people stopped bidding for current models... I could go on and on with this for all of my EOS Ms and lenses.

If you buy gear for what it actually is, the current GAS panic represents a great opportunity! EOS-M is dead? Great, lets buy stuff now

Now I'm waiting to buy the X-Pro3 when Sony announced their A7200! Oh no, wait! Wasn't Sony APS-C dead as well...
