40-150mm Olympus f4 - 5.6 worth the cheap price, or save the cash?

Before going forward;

1. Yes i've done some research online

2. Yes, I searched the forum, but didn't see anything that explicitly asked this.

3. Yes I know that 4 - 5.6 lenses can be great. I used to have a Sigma one when I had a Canon camera.

What I am asking is that I've see these for as low as $99.

And that's so low, you almost just want to buy it....."just because" - but my question is....what is everyone's personal experience with this lens. If you change the 40mm to 5.6 and maybe the long end to f8, does the image "clean up a little"? (more contrast/sharpness, etc.)

Again, I am familiar with how lenses work. And I know you can still get a blurry background, which isn't what I am concerned about. I am actually more concerned about chromatic aberration.

If anyone has pics as reference, they are welcome to share
