No. Same number does not mean same pixels and he says that the sensor is newly developed.

If no, look at the data above which confirms my hypothesis as the metrics are nearly identical baring the variation at base ISO which is probably due to implementation IE always on.

The only thing I said was that the quote said the opposite, which is a fact.

Let me put this in laymen terms then: If it walks like a duck...
