I don't blame you at all and I know how you feel. I had heard that this new Canon ML does not have IBIS and that was incredible for me. I just cannot understand why Canon did this. They are definitely smoking something up there.

It's because Canon use in-lens IS as their approach to stabilisation, as they have for many years now. Not difficult to understand at all.

Then just barely a few minutes ago I saw Froknowsphoto preview and this Canon and it doesn't have a JOYSTICK either??? Canon is definitely smoking something. That's just not right.

That's because they offer two other ways to navigate AF point selection, menus etc. I'll let you go discover what those are rather than spoil the surprise.

So what if there are other ways to navigate thru it? Not having a joystick totally sucks. In my opinion it is completely absurd for any camera like this with so many AF points not to have a joystick. That I definitely cannot comprehend.

Using the joystick with the 5D4 is slow enough, I cannot imagine how you navigate through zillions of AF points with a joystick.

Ah okay then it sounds like a design problem then.  FYI, my XH1 joystick is very responsive and quick.  Is funny you mention this because I checked out the Nikon D850 recently and the joystick was not as quick and delightful as my XH1.  I also noticed a slight delay in the joystick operation on the D850.  As soon as I moved the joystick it took a tiny bit of time to start moving and I had to kind of force or apply more effort to move the joystick so If you are saying that the joystick is slow on the canon then definitely it has to do with the type of parts being used in these cameras.  That's my only guess.  The joysticks on my D4 is also a lot more stiff.  The Fuji joystick is so quick and smooth and it has a wonderful feel to it.

Next time you go to the camera store please check out the Nikon and compare the joystick operation of the Fuji and you will see the difference.  Obviously you already know how the canon feels like.

Thanks and take care
