Sigma 100-400 and Canon 1.4 teleconverter...

I bought the Sigma lens shortly after it came out and have enjoyed it. However, when I bought it, I tried it with my Canon 1.4 teleconverter and it wouldn't work. No big deal, but I had hoped.

Fast forward to a few days ago. I hooked up my Sigma Dock and did the latest firmware update for the 100-400 and for yucks, I popped it on my camera with the 1.4 teleconverter and holy cow....it works!

Now, I have yet to actually take it outside and see just how well it works, but considering that I was about to buy the Sigma 1.4, I just may have saved myself a nice chunk of money.

Curious, does anyone know when Sigma fixed this?

Thanks! David
