I recommended the KM Dimage A200, an 8 MP bridge camera. That is very much a Konica Minolta camera.
The other A200 is a 10 MP SLR made by Sony. I'm not recommending that at all, since I've never used it.

I have a Sony SLT myself, and apart from the rather ordinary JPG engine, it's a fine camera. The live view focus, in particular, is much better than other SLRs.
