Change from Mirrored to Mirrorless—for the sake of lens alignment?

Hello fellow Canon users,

Quick question for something I haven’t seen asked.  I currently have the 5Div with the 35L, 85L and 135L.  I really like those lenses and the simplicity of shooting primes.  I have read a lot of people saying they have to calibrate the lenses and microadjust the cameras which costs a lot of time and or money.  I have also heard that with the mirror less system, one advantage is that you never have to do so because you are focusing directly on the sensor.

Do you think that it is a valid reason to go mirrorless?  I’m not a pro and I don’t ‘think’ I pixel peep too much to know whether my lenses are calibrated or not.  Then again, maybe I’m not taking advantage of how sharp the lenses really could be on my FF camera and have settled with what I have.  Opinions?

Thanks

Joe
