A more artisan/craftsman way to print pictures at home?

Hi Guys!

I love printing pictures. I printed through printing company. Recently I used again my "old" instax that I was using before as giveaway print on travel to print for my home.

I know there is also tons of threads around printers. Today living in US I'm spoiled with "cheap" CANON Pixma Pro 100.

But I would like a more personal / artistic way of printing, a little bit like the old film development, or lithograph... well something manual and I guess technical.

Any advice, experiment?
