Canon t5 to SL2?

All these have been shot in full manual...although now to think of it using aperture priority(so the camera sets an appropriate shutter speed) or even auto could help shooting with a full manual lens. I haven’t played much with those modes(except of course auto for off the hip shots with my other lenses)

The other poster mentioned metering. That i will need to read about. For this shot i was using a polarised filter. I did take a few shots at 1/15 with a decent forest bokeh I could combine in post. But when the potential for action exists that can be annoying(it looks like inadequate light and maybe too low of shutter speed blurred the damselfly in flight)

I figured out low shutter speed recently...with such a short lens, I’ve had success handholding shots regularly at 1/15 and lower if i can brace against something.
