Where do I go from here?
As a hobbyist photographer with a Canon 60D and with the advent of the EOS R, I'm a bit puzzled what to do when I next upgrade my camera.
The options I can see are:
1. Upgrade to the EOS R. Too expensive for me at the moment.
2. EOS M5 / M50 - is this a good upgrade from a 60D?, Will Canon continue to support the M series and keep producing better models and lenses?
3. Get a EOS 90D whenever that comes out. Assuming this is still a 'mirrored' camera, are DSLR slowly going to die out so it would be a mistake to go for it OR do you think Canon will move 'enthusiast' ranges like the xxD range to mirrorless APS-C cameras that sit somewhere between EOS M and EOS R in the camera hierarchy?
4. Get a 6D / 6D mark 2 as a cheaper full frame option? Again will these die off as sales move to mirrorless?
