UV light to sterilize inks?
1

I ordered a set of refillable inks for my pro 100, but it was a pretty large set.. And I don't think I'll be able to go through all of it in under 6 months, possibly a year.

Regarding mold and fungus, I'm not sure if it would be an issue?

I have a UV light like the kind you use on aquariums, I was thinking on using it for a few hours on the ink bottles to sterilize then when they go into storage.

So after more thinking on this, I'm worried how this exposure to UV will effect the inks?

Also the plastic bottles might also be effected, maybe become more brittle or break up and leak plasticizer into the inks (guess I could put the inks in glass bottles?)

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I being paranoid?
