I'm almost ready to sell my X-E2 and buy the X-T100. The X-E2 (AF, performance, etc.) works well for my shooting needs. But I can take advantage of 24mps since I print large, and the X-T100 seems to be an upgrade in about every way.

Has anyone used both cameras and have input in the purchase? Remember, I'm only comparing to the X-E2 I have, not other Fuji models.

Thanks.

Sal

Surely the XE3 would be a more obvious upgrade?

What would make it a better choice for mostly landscape shooting? I’ve converted and compared RAW files and IQ isn’t an issue.

Sal

I see your point, you are a RAW shooter, I am a jpeg shooter and I also like using the Fuji film simulations. so for me the XE3 is a more obvious choice.

Besides the X-T100 not having Acros, what is the difference in jpegs? I read the DPreview review of the X-T100 which was happy with the jpegs.

"We are more than happy with the X-T100's image quality. JPEGs have vibrant color and a lot of detail, and noise levels in low light are as good or better than its peers...The camera actually has three customizable control dials, with one defaulting to changing Film Simulation modes, making this feature more accessible than on other models."

Sal

I suppose the only other factor in the XE3's favour would be its higher quality build but if like me you are careful with your gear, that is not an issue either.

Oh dear, I think I want one as well
