Ohhhh, what could of been...

...had Samsung elected to remain in today's technologically advanced camera environment!

Our daily perceptions are being overcharged as what seems like week after week, new announcements are being made with regards to new, more advanced mirror-less camera releases.  And with that, the FF mirror-less wars have begun between Sony and Nikon, and shortly, both Canon and Panasonic will be entering the FF arena (wow - who would have thought).

This leads me to reminisce (dream) of what Samsung would have done had she still been in the camera market.  Given the fact that Samsung were far head of their time with the likes of their NX1 and NX500 releases (let alone sensor design, technological prowess, and corporate strength), it makes you wonder how Samsung would answer?  Would Samsung have taken the bait and eventually entered the FF arena also?

As a multi-brand system shooter (i.e. Samsung NX, Fuji X, Micro 43, and yes...the Canon EOS M system), I've come to appreciate what all have brought to bear on the market.  And for me, this pending Canon "R FF mirrorless is piquing my interest to say the least.

But I keep coming back to the "what if" phase of my imagination - that is, what if Samsung had elected to stay in the game.  Ohhhh, what we would have seen over the past few years!
