Re: NX2000 - Will not sync with computer & only turns on when take battery out/in
A new card would have to be formatted in the camera, not in a computor. If you can get into the menu with the gear that should have a format option. I have an NX 300 and my grandaughter was using it and gave it back to me with a batter half in and half out stuck in place it was an after market Power 2000 I believe my wasabi charger was not so smart and continually over charged it. It was not stuck very hard and pulled out with some channel lock pliers.
I bought 2 of the BP 1130 power extra batteries and a charger on Amazon. The batteries are charged showing 8.3 volts on a vom but the screen stays blank when I turn the camera on. Reviewing the manual it says the internal battery if completly discharged may tak 72 hours to recharge with a fully charged battery inserted and camera in off mode. So I have a fully charged battery in the camera and it is plugged into its micro usb and factory charger. Samsung states that the battery may not recharge at all if plugged into a USB hub and may not charge properly if plugged into a computor USB port. The model number on my Samsung USB charger is etaou61JBE its output is 5 volts 1. amp input 100-240 ac. It is a tiny thing but must have some smart stuff going on to charge a 7.5 volt battery and run on variable input voltages.
I ran this camera for years using the Wasabi charger for the batteries, always pulled the batteries and charged in the charger, never used the USB beyond the initial charge up before I got the wasabi. I may be unfair to blame the Wasabi for the swollen batteries as that seems to happen even to AA recharables charged in the batteries OEM charger.
I tryed your trick of inserting battery with camera switched on it did not work for me. That would generally be a not recomended practice to remove or install while switched on. So I will see what happens after 72 hours of charging.
