ahaslet, what would you guys suggest. I have the metabones adapter from canon. My focus is ok speed take a bit but seems to work. It sounds like the 4/3 adapter is almost like the metabones adapter. I could invest in a 50-500 an adapter or try another canon lens.

Can I ask what setup you guys like the most ? 4/3 adapter or the metabones ?

My vote is for the FT to MFT adapter.  I paid more for a used FT mount Bigma than an EF mount Bigma would have cost.  I already had the Metabones, so that wasn't a consideration.

I can't recommend the Bigma.  Over 420mm it's very soft.  You might be better with a 100-400mm MFT lens in the long run.  Since you already have the Metabones, maybe you could try an EF mount Bigma and see how you like the IQ.
