Upgrade to D5600 - body only or with 18-140?
1

Hi guys, I'm looking at upgrading to the D5600 and not sure which kit to buy. My local store currently has the 18-55 AF-P kit or the 18-140 kit with a £130 price difference. As I have a 16-80, 10-20 & 70-300 AF-Ps plus the 18-55 that came with my D3400, the 18-55 kit would be a little pointless.

I'm thinking either buy the 18-140 kit and slap that lens on the D3400, turning it into a single lens travel / walk around camera, sell off the 18-140 or just look for a D5600 body. Strangely my local store doesn't sell the D5600 as a body only option. Is this normal? I see the body only option is available online.

So what would you do? Is the 18-140 worth having for travelling light or would I be better off saving the money and investing the cash elsewhere?

Cheers, Matt
