RX100VI night shot--with a bit of help from Photoshop
2

I think the RX100VI does a good job  with jpegs out of the camera at default settings in good light. However, not so much in low light.  This is where Photoshop can help a lot.   I use  CS6 "Open in Camera Raw", and usually no adjustments in Photoshop proper.  Here's a typical night shot, first out of the camera, just resized at 2000 pixels wide, and below that the same resized image adjusted in Camera Raw.  (That's a jpeg, not Raw; as we know, Photoshop at this time does not support Raw.  The results may be better still with real Raw image files and appropriate Raw processing.)
