Re: The camera has finally died - a photo tribute

I've bought and sold a lot with them. They stick by their warranties and if they say it's A grade trust me it;s boxed and as good as 'Mint Used' from any other camera retailer such as MBP, LCE etc. You get a 48 hour cooling off period so can check shutter count yourself and if not happy take it back,

Apologies, I'm struggling to follow which post you're replying to. I'm assuming that is my comments about CEX? It's good to know that they come highly recommended - their site and lack of details about what you're actually getting doesn't really do their business model any favours - at least to customers that aren't familiar with their service levels.

My favourite thinking at the moment is that I might initially get the Panasonic bridge camera, the FZ330 (4k video frame captures and f2.8 through the zoom range to 600mm), then either look for a good used 100D, or just wait and see what the next generation of small Canon DSLRs is like - long term, I certainly want another. The price has just dropped 60 quid on the 200D, so I'm going to a local camera shop tomorrow to handle them both and see how they feel in my hand - now there's only 40 quid between them - close enough that it won't influence a decision.
