X-H1: Controlling ISO from front command dial WITHOUT invoking auto ISO

On my X-T2, I can control ISO with the front command dial by setting the ISO dial to A.  However with the X-H1, if ISO is set to A, it automatically invokes the auto iso settings, which thus limits what can be done with the FCD. Which makes no sense.  Someone in another thread suggested that if you donโ€™t want to use auto ISO, then just flip the dial off the A setting.  But that, of course, completely defeats the purpose of being able to control ISO with the FCD.

Is there any way in the X-H1 to just disable the three auto iso settings? Or anyone know of another solution? There SHOULD be a setting to just turn off the auto ISO settings, so that it is completely manual from the FCD.
