TZ81/ZS60 Random white pixels in JPG, not in RW2

Hello everybody,

I'm asking for you help in figuring out if my camera has an issue/is broken.

While cropping/retouching some photos I've noticed that some of them contain random white pixels all over the place. At first I tought that it was some environmental dust but comparing the JPG image with the RW2 file I noticed that the white dots are not there in the RW2 file.

The white dots are clearly more visible on darker areas of the picture, seem to appear regardless of the focal length, seem to "move around" between images, are not related to the in-camera sharpness/nr/contrast/... and (worst part), appear even also at low/base ISO.

Any ideas? ...I suppose my camera is heading back to the shop for repair

thank you in advance!

Example #1:

This is a portion of the lower-right part of the image (with the white dots circled in red):

Example #2 (here the white pixels are all over the image, see original):

Example #3 (look at the black area in the top-left part of the image):

Example #4 (dots on the shirt)

For this last image, here's a comparison (crop) between JPG and RW2 (screen capture from darktable):

RW2 (crop, darktable)
