Did it, a representative image

Ran the FZ1000 for about two hours, taking images every 20" at 20" exposures with following settings: manual, f/2.8, ISO 1600, LSNR OFF, WB at daylight. Shots in fine jpg.  Lighting conditions sucked, way too much light at my location. Not so sure how clear the sky was, may have been very fine clouds at high altitude. No meteors insight.

First image is the original, second was PP'd in PSE14/NIK. I think it is really hard to evaluate my first attempt at this as the poor lighting conditions may have been too tough to over come to produce a reasonable image.   Overall, I'm fairly happy as I have taken a reasonable first step in learning some of the basics of nighttime sky photography and how to use the time lapse function of the camera.
