First UW Camera
Aug 14, 2018
Greetings,
Never ventured to the depths of this part of the forum. I have, after reading several reviews and threads on here, just purchased an RX100 V with Sony Housing, plus a 67mm Dome for some over under photos and a separate dive torch for a bit of light if required.
In short, I am doing my PADI open water course in Croatia (completed to eLearning) and want to take a decent camera and not just a gopro etc. My leica gear aint really appropriate either I assume.
Can anyone see an issue with the gear that I have chosen?
Dome port ok for my intended use?
I have ordered this one - https://www.amazon.co.uk/PULUZ-Optical-Fisheye-Underwater-Housings/dp/B073TQY1YM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1534254191&sr=8-4&keywords=67mm+dome
Any tips on lights and what I can get away with? I dont wont to go crazy and spend loads on strobes and a rail system etc
Most of the stuff I want to shoot will be at the surface or close to. I like the light and water surface. The deep stuff is not of much interest other than just a snap.
Thanks and hello
