Can faster lens compensate for having a smaller sensor?
1

Let's take an example of 2 cameras

[MFT] Panasonic GX80/85 with 12-32 m f/3.5-5.6

[1 inch] Panasonic LX10/15 with fixed lens 8.8-26.4 mm f/1.4-2.8

Now considering crop factor of 2 for MFT and 3 for 1-inch, the FF equivalent lens parameters:

MFT 12 mm f/3.5 = 24 mm f/7

1inch 8.8 mm f/1.4 = 24 mm f/4

Does it mean in low light LX10 will outform GX80 as it lets more light in?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX85 Panasonic LX10
