A very slow eater

Went out yesterday AM, it was over cast but was tired of sitting around the house, this Osprey dropped in with a large goldfish around 10:15AM the male of the local pair

at this point only the head was eaten, he took off and made a close fly by

The sun came out later in the afternoon so went back down, he was sitting in a nearby tree apparently with the same fish down to the tail and a but of meat, but this was a bit after 5:30 PM

then another fly by 20 minutes later

and last sighting about an hour later near 7PM

just down to the tail so flying around with this fish for over 8 hours, who knows how long it had it to get the head down, or how long it carried the tail afterwards
