Panasonic G7 - trouble focusing in low light.

There are times when the camera will go out of focus for a moment even when recording video in the daytime. However I'll check the setting on this camera.

You can try shooting 1080 instead of 4k. Focusing should be faster. Also, when in Custom movie mode (selected from PASM-dial), you can select "continuous AF" to "OFF" from the first menu.

AF options can be overwhelming in Panasonic Lumix cameras. Some options affect stills, some affect video, some affect both, and the camera may operate differently if it is in Custom movie mode or in some other mode (selected from the PASM dial).

Yes I noticed a large collection of setting in the cameras menu, some even do the same thing. Still it's good to be able to set up the camera exactly the way you want it to perform.
