I see very few freshwater images other than salmon. Perhaps it is because of the highly turbid water in one instance but when coupled with the cold, it really is uncomfortable.

I have pursued my fish in freshwater in spite of the hurdles mentioned above. Post processing plays a huge part in picture presentation after capturing the image. Here is a sample of what I am talking about:

I gained the processing experience through astrophotography. The turbid pollution needs to be subtracted and then the histogram must be stretched to bring out the proper colors.

I hope I encourage others to try fresh water.
