Xe2s firmware update
Xe2s firmware update
Aug 11, 2018
Finally getting around to updating the firmware for both the camera as well as the 35 1.4 (to hopefully eliminate the lens rattle). I’ve already downloaded the update to a formatted card. However, the instructions on the Fuji site say to insert the card, turn the camera on and press the back/disp button to bring up the camera firmware version screen when you insert the card with the new update. Pressing that button doesn’t bring up that screen on my camera. It brings up the various screen displays but not the camera firmware version sceeen - which you need to update the camera/lens. Does anyone know how you get to that screen?
I’ve tried with sd card inserted as well as with no sd card without success. Also went through the menu settings. All that I can find is the screen to format a new card. I know I’m missing something probably very simple. Thanks.
