Timelapse and sensor lifetime

Hello my friends,

I am an amateur in photography and I like timelapses.

I tried a timelapse of the sunrise with 600 frames taken each 5 seconds, resulting in a 12 seconds video in a Canon SL2.

When it started shooting the mirror lifted and turned down just at the end. I do not know of any other mechanic process in the shooting. I am worried about the sensor lifetime, or any other piece lifetime due to the time it is exposed to the environment (for example, the mirror mechanism has a lifetime expectancy, and it may damage as soon as it is too used). I am also worried about heat in the sensor due to the time it is working (about 1 hour for sunrise). And I am also worried about a large amount of light coming in the sensor from the Sun for some minutes (which might cause dead or hot pixels). What do you think, guys? Are these worries fair? Can I make timelapses with no problem at all?
