Rome. 10-18mm, 24mm F2.8 plus 50mm F1.8 or skip 50mm?

Anyone been to Rome?

I'm going next week for a week.

I use a Canon crop sensor 100d.

I've just bought the 10-18mm. I'm not going to Rome and NOT getting some shots of the Colosseum or the Pantheon etc.

Of course I'm bringing my street and favorite FOV lens, the 24mm F2.8 pancake.

I reckon I should bring one other lens, it's Rome and I don't want to miss any opportunities. Bu tbh I'm good at getting close and have never felt restricted by a longest fov of 35mm eqvt.

35mm too close to 24mm to be useful, it really is a step forward or back, literally IMO / IME. So I reckon take the 50mm F1.8 STM?

Would you bother with the 50mm on what you know of Rome? For what would it be Useful..?

For London I'd probably advice people on WA and 35mm and only bother with 50mm especially on crop if they are shy getting closer candids.

Or I guess for getting little detail shots of things that shout 'London!' that might be behind a gate or something or like a close up of the number 10 on the PM's house etc that you can't get close enough to with 35mm or IDK a fountain with a blurred background or something....

What do you reckon?

I could just get a kit lens and have it all but meh I like using primes.
