You're kind of redefining what is meant by live view in a burst shooting scenario here. For EVFs the established terminology for live view is when there are multiple frames displayed between burst frames.

Who defined it that way?

I always thought that live view is when the image in the viewfinder is 'live', ie. is not the last shot taken, but what the sensor sees right now.

The difference is that with live you you see what's going on right now, while without it you see what was going on 50-150ms ago. With E-M1 II, it's the former, so to me that fully qualifies it as live view.
