OIS (18-55) vs IBIS (a6500)

Hi all,

I planning to move from m43 to aps-c, coming from a Panny GX7 w/ 20mm f1.7. I have a 1 year+ old son, and was thinking it's high time to get 4K videos of him and was looking more into a system with better AF. I was initally intrigued by Sony's AF, then I did more research and looked at the competitors (esp Fujifilm's X-T20). The T20 is closely compared to the a6300, but where I'm from, price wise the T20 is nearer to the a6500. While I'm primarily still a photo guy, but I do want to get more video of my son. Short clips of 1 minute clips are great enough and I'm quite lazy to PP and have zero clue to video editing. Hence I'm now leaning towards the Fuji for fantastic OOC JPEGs.

Enough of the backstory, here's the question. If I'm doing handheld video for 4K, I'm trying to understand the difference OIS on the lenses vs the IBIS on the a6500. Is there a vast difference?

Thank you.
